Sara Prebble is a designer & painter in leafy Hersham Village, Surrey.
With over several years industry experience in a variety of fields. Since leaving university, Sara has designed for some of the UK's Leading retailers.

Originally from Cockermouth, The Lake District (UK), Sara graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2005, with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design. Prior to that Sara attended Cumbria Institute of the Arts where she completed a BTec National Diploma in Fine Art.

During her final year studying for her Degree, Sara was a Junior Designer at BFP design, once graduating she then progressed onto her first post grad job in a small marketing agency as a Graphic Designer, working on corporate business design. After 18 months Sara took a new role as Lead Packaging Designer at one of the UK's leading Gift Packaging companies where she worked for 5 years. Here Sara designed packaging for some of the UK's leading retailers and food & beverage brands including, BHS, Debenhams, Boots, Sainsbury's, Lanson, Magners, Jacobs Creek, Thornton’s and many more.

Over the last 2 years, Sara has developed her Illustration style and created a range of greetings cards. Sara was the ‘Artist in Focus’ in Progressive Greetings World Wide Magazine (October 2010) and her greetings cards have featured in the ‘Innovations’ section of Progressive Greetings World Wide Magazine in three issues (February 2011, May 2011, November 2011). Sara’s Greetings cards are available through her online shop on Bouf and in selected retailers in the UK.

Sara is currently developing her own label, Sara Prebble Designs to incorporate her Furniture painting and illustration work.
Drawing on her time at Cumbria Institute of the Arts, Sara takes old, tired furniture and gives a new look to suit the current style of french Shabby Chic and gustavian distressed look. Using various different colour schemes to match in with a room’s decor, Sara magically transforms each piece with a fresh, current and revitalised style for any home.
